EAST LANSING — For the first three quarters against Arizona State, all was well for Justin Layne. He followed All-American N’Keal Harry every snap, and while the receiver got his touches, he had yet to put Layne on the wrong end of a highlight reel.
Then the fourth quarter happened, and just about everything unraveled.
Despite Layne draped all over him, Harry caught the game-tying touchdown that firmly swung momentum the Sun Devils’ way.
