EAST LANSING - Three days before Michigan State's season opener, the program released a depth chart Tuesday morning for the first time this fall.
The No. 11 Spartans, who host Utah State on Friday (7 p.m., BTN), return 19 of 22 starters from last year, so most of the positions were already established.
However, there are a few notable takeaways from the first depth chart:
- At left tackle, the starter is listed as Cole Chewins or Luke Campbell, and at right tackle the starter is listed as either Jordan Reid or Campbell. Chewins, a redshirt junior, started all 13 games at left tackle last season while Campbell, a redshirt sophomore, started 12 at right tackle.
