Michigan State Spartans Senior Guard Denzel Valentine has been named Big Ten Player of the Week for the third time this season. Valentine turned in 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists against Michigan Feb. 6.
Valentine is averaging 18.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists in eight games since returning from injury, including 21.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists in his last six contests. He ranks second in the Big Ten in scoring (18.6), first in assists (6.7) and fifth in rebounds (7.9).
