EAST LANSING — Cam Chambers finally had his breakthrough moment with Michigan State's football team.

Chambers, who had been forced to wait his turn after being one of MSU's most heralded recruits in the 2016 class, caught five passes for a career-high 82 yards in Saturday's 29-19 loss to Northwestern at Spartan Stadium.

His performance stood out among the fill-ins who got extended playing time because of MSU's mounting injuries.
