Michigan State deputy athletic director Alan Haller is one of three finalists for the vacant Central Michigan athletic director job, the school in Mount Pleasant revealed Monday night.
Haller will be among the candidates who will visit CMU this week to interview for the job that came open in late August, when Michael Alford left CMU after three years for Florida State to become the CEO of Seminole Boosters Inc. The other two finalists are Amy Folan, who is Texas’ executive senior associate athletics director, and Derek van der Merwe, who is Arizona’s assistant vice president/chief operating officer/chief financial officer.
