For those of you who read Mike’s piece earlier this week about the rest of the MSU sports scene, then you would have read about how our women’s soccer team is having a fantastic season. In fact, the team just suffered their first defeat of the season this past Sunday after going 14 games without a loss to begin the season. Their sole defeat came in the second game of a trip to the Pacific Northwest. After a 0-0 tie at Oregon, they went up to Washington and fell 2-1 after giving up the winner in the 86th minute.
