Kendall Bostic has had a limited role in her debut season for the Michigan State women’s basketball team.
But the freshman answered the call Friday for the shorthanded Spartans.
Bostic provided a lift off the bench with one of her best scoring performances of the season.
It wasn’t enough for the No. 7 seed Spartans, who saw their run in the Big Ten tournament end with an 87-72 semifinal loss to No. 6 seed Iowa at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Bostic had her third double-digit scoring performance of the season with 13 points on 6 of 9 shooting for the Spartans, who played without starters Tory Ozment (Achilles) and Julia Ayrault (concussion).
