EAST LANSING — Michigan State played its first game in nearly three years without Joshua Langford on Wednesday night.
It may not have mattered in the short time, as the eighth-ranked Spartans played one of its most complete stretches of the season in an 81-55 win over Northwestern at Breslin Center to resume Big Ten play.
But it also is not yet known whether the junior co-captain's left ankle injury will become a long-term problem.
