Well, it wasn’t the prettiest game, but Saturday night’s Michigan State vs Rutgers contest went down to the wire and had a little more intrigue for outside observers than anticipated.

The Spartans certainly aren’t playing like the No. 4 team in the nation and Mark Dantonio will need to right the ship as soon as possible. Michigan State is flirting with danger every week against lesser opponents, but a win’s a win — until it’s not anymore.
