Sunday’s Big Ten Championship Game between Michigan State and Purdue will be heavily watched as it’s the last contest before Selection Sunday gets underway at around 5:30 p.m. ET. The Spartans are looking to solidify a one-seed while the Boilermakers are looking to end their eight-game win streak.
Michigan State has looked solid over the past month since losing to Purdue in West Lafayette by one point in overtime. The Boilermakers had a 16-point lead at halftime before the Spartans stormed back and tied it up, eventually taking a late four-point lead.
That loss still sings for Tom Izzo and Michigan State as it was the one game that may have kept the Spartans from the one-seed line for a few weeks.
