Michigan State begins Big Ten Conference play this week against the Purdue Boilermakers at Spartan Stadium for the annual Homecoming matchup. As alumni travel back to East Lansing, they are hoping for a breakout performance against the Big Ten bottom-feeder.
While Purdue has struggled in recent years they have still given the Spartans all they can handle the past two times the teams have gotten together. Michigan State will look to put together their first complete game in all phases for the first time this season, hoping to make a statement to the rest of the conference.
