In a rematch of last year’s late-season matchup between the No. 9 Michigan State Spartans and the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes, the roles have seemingly been reversed. A season ago, the Spartans were the favorite at home while the Buckeyes were just fighting to stay alive in the playoff conversation.
This year, the Spartans are the underdog on the road, just fighting for some playoff recognition if they can pull off a huge road upset against the undefeated reigning national champs.
Connor Cook might be nursing a slight shoulder injury heading into this game, but from everything he and the coaching staff has said this week, his shoulder will be just fine heading into Saturday afternoon’s Michigan State vs Ohio State matchup.
