EAST LANSING -- When Michigan State starts moving on from its gut-wrenching loss to Nebraska, it will do so early in the day.
The Spartans' home game against Maryland on Saturday will kick off at noon and be televised on ESPN2, the school announced early Sunday morning. The kickoff time for the game was previously unannounced.
It's the fourth noon game at Spartan Stadium this year, but first since Oct. 3 against Purdue.
Even after a 39-38 loss to Nebraska on Saturday night, the Spartans remain in the hunt for a Big Ten title with three games left in the regular season.
