It wasn’t pretty, but really what has been this season for the Michigan State Spartan football team? Beating a Maryland Terrapin football team that has yet to record a Big Ten win was to be expected.
The Spartans won the game by 17 points and it was won on the backs of the defense, which is surprising to say after the less than stellar performance last week. The defense forced five turnovers which created 17 points for the Spartan offense who was without star quarterback Connor Cook in the second half.
Cook took a solid and awkward hit to his shoulder in the first half.
