It’s that time of year again. Michigan State basketball is back and for the first time in school history, the Spartans are ranked No. 1 in the preseason AP Top 25.
Expectations are at an all-time high with Cassius Winston back for his senior year as presumably the best player in college basketball. Not having Josh Langford will hurt, but he’s going to be re-evaluated in January and potentially return mid-season, although that seems like a stretch.
Kentucky is the No. 2 team in the country coming into this one and John Calipari has a young team yet again with sky-high goals.
