It took about 59:30 of this game for a winner to really be decided. The No. 5 Michigan State Spartans and No. 4 Iowa Hawkeyes looked like they were both worthy of being crowned Big Ten champs and making it to the second annual College Football Playoff.
For the second time in three years, Michigan State has won the Big Ten Championship Game and the Hawkeyes gave the Spartans all they could handle in a 16-13 thriller.
Indianapolis was rocking on Saturday night and Gus Johnson was getting amped up, as always, as the Spartans scored an incredible touchdown in the final 30 seconds of play to put the game away for good and seal the deal on a trip to the playoff.
