Michigan State enters the 2016 Big Ten Tournament as the No. 2 seed, having won 10 of its last 11 games. The Spartans will play in the quarterfinals against the winner of Thursday’s contest between No. 7 Ohio State and No. 10 Penn State. MSU has won the last two tournaments played in Indianapolis.

Denzel Valentine is having a historically great season. According to ESPN Research, Valentine is on pace to become the first player to average 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists since the NCAA first started keeping assists as an official stat in 1983-84.
