Michigan State target from Muskegon chooses LSU over Alabama, others

MUSKEGON - Anthony Bradford, the gentle giant for Muskegon High School's football team, made a monster announcement Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4 1/2, 358-pound offensive tackle revealed that he'll be playing college football at LSU.

Bradford, who is not one for all the pomp and circumstance that tends to be associated with big-time recruiting and the made-for-video hat game, made the announcement on Twitter.

Bradford, the junior right tackle who helped Muskegon steamroll opponents en route to a perfect, state-championship season last fall, chose LSU over Alabama and Georgia, the two schools that played for the College Football Playoff championship last season.
