East Lansing — A week after exploding for 51 points, Michigan State’s offense once again found itself struggling to put points on the board.
And instead of pulling out a thrilling victory, the Spartans bumbled the final minutes, allowing an Arizona State touchdown in the final minute, then having a potential tying field goal wiped out by their 10th penalty of the game.
The end result was a 10-7 victory for Arizona State, one that kept Mark Dantonio from becoming the winningest coach in program history.
Arizona State (3-0) marched 75 yards in the final minutes, scoring the winning touchdown on a 1-yard run by Eno Benjamin with 50 seconds to play.
