After a big commitment from Caleb Swanigan a month ago, it seemed like the Michigan State Spartans would be completely out of the running for Missouri-transfer Johnathan Williams III. However, that is not the case as it seems like the forward is keeping his MSU options open.
At one point in his recruitment process, the 6-foot-9 power forward was strongly considering the Spartans before he decided to commit to the Tigers.
One thing that may have changed his overall perception of Missouri after two seasons with the school is the fact that his coach, Frank Haith, left after his freshman season, taking a job with Tulsa in a move that surprised everyone.
