This past weekend reminded me of one thing: Who else in the country has it better? How many fan bases have an undefeated football team that is in the top 10?
Although there are several undefeated teams, the difference between Michigan State and the other universities is that its fan base is spoiled for both football and basketball. Not only are the Michigan State Spartans a powerhouse in football, but they’re also a powerhouse in basketball. No other university comes close to what the Spartans are doing.
The football team is looking to make a playoff run after a Cotton Bowl victory last year.
