Following a 21-point upset victory on the road against the No. 24-ranked Miami (FL) Hurricanes, and a 3-0 start to the 2021 season, the Michigan State Spartans have cracked the top-25 rankings for the first time this season in both the Associated Press and USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. MSU checks in at No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 21 in the Coaches Poll.
The Spartans received votes each of the past two weeks, but did not make it into the top-25 rankings until this week.
