First Things First: Should a selection committee of humans be changed to a computer?
Say what you want about the Detroit Free Press' own Drew Sharp, but his argument in an earlier column suggests an argument that could play into Michigan State's favor.
When the national championship, or in which case, the college football playoff, was changed from a computer element to a committee of experts, a feeling of unfair bias or favoritism was put into effect.
So when the Spartans rank below team's like Oklahoma or Utah in the latest CFP rankings, you can't help but think that the committee continues to believe that the Big Ten is highlighted by Ohio State, reiterating what Sharp wrote, with it's subordinates sitting pretty at its feet.
