For the third time since May of this year, former MSU & NBA player Keith Appling has been arrested. For the third time a firearm was involved. The young man played at MSU from 2010-2014 and last year in the NBA for the Orlando Magic.
Keith Appling is 24 and was arrested Sunday evening at approximately 9PM in Detroit. The alleged crime occurred while he was driving away from a traffic stop. He stopped and then was pursued for a short amount of time, before stopping again.
He was driving a 2013 Dodge Challenger and was observed by officers who allegedly saw him commit a traffic violation in Michigan’s largest city.
