EAST LANSING — Second signing day — what once was a moment for programs to showcase its recruiting class — came and went with only one new addition for Michigan State football.

The Spartans, as expected, signed wide receiver Tre’Von Morgan on Wednesday, the only new addition to bring their 2019 class up to 19 players.

That does not mean coach Mark Dantonio and his staff are done. MSU could target some late academic qualifiers, some players who changed their minds on signing with a school or potential transfers who might be available immediately this fall.
