Over the weekend, three-star Michigan State Football commit Matt Allen did something that opened some eyes around the state of Illinois and even in his future home of Michigan. The 263-pound offensive center won the state title in wrestling along with Josh King — who won it back-to-back years.

What does this have to do with football, you ask? Well, the fact that this kid can hold his own against guys his size in a physically-taxing sport — better than anyone in the state — shows that he can be one heck of a lineman at the collegiate level.
