For the first time in the Mark Dantonio era, Michigan State has offered an eighth-grade prospect. Outside linebacker Jesus Machado is the recipient of the first-ever scholarship Dantonio has offered to a non-high school recruit and that must say a lot about him.
Whenever Dantonio extends an offer, it’s basically him putting his stamp of approval on the young prospect. The fact that he’s never done so with a kid this young goes to shows just how talented Machado must be.

The class of 2020 outside linebacker stands 6-foot-0 and weighs in at about 195 pounds, making him high school varsity ready at the age of 13 or 14.
