Michigan State recruiting has gotten a jumpstart recently, reeling in five top football targets in the 2017 class. Mark Dantonio and his staff are aiming high now, offering a scholarship Tuesday to five-star wide receiver James Robinson from Lakeland, Fla.
The Spartans seem pretty stacked at wide receiver for the foreseeable future, but there’s no guarantee the staff will land the top target in the 2017 class, five-star Donovan Peoples-Jones. The Detroit-native has been rumored to want to leave Michigan for college.
