Tom Izzo put together his best recruiting class, on paper, during his time at Michigan State in 2016. Up to this point, he has accrued loads of talent, including two five-stars and two four-stars in the 2016 group and he’s looking to build on that in 2017.

One guy who he’d love to add to the 2017 class to get the ball rolling is five-star small forward Brian Bowen who plays for La Lumiere in Indiana but is originally from Saginaw, Mich. Bowen dropped his list of top 12 schools on Friday, including the Spartans.
