It’s never too early to get started on the 2018 Michigan State recruiting class, even if the 2017 group has just gotten underway. The Spartans have received pledges from tight end Jack Camper and wide receiver Cody White over the past couple of weeks for 2017, but hope to lock up a big kid like Jackson Carman in 2018.

According to 247Sports, Carman is planning an official visit to East Lansing for the end of March. The Fairfield, Ohio, offensive tackle is one of the top players in the 2018 class and will be evaluated heavily by the Spartans in coming months.
