After sitting around and watching the football team snag some of the top recruits in the country, Tom Izzo is helping the Michigan State recruiting for the basketball program keep pace by contacting some of the top players in the nation as well.

With just three months until the basketball season is set to begin following an unbelievable Final Four run in 2014-15, Izzo is hoping that he can put the loss of Travis Trice, Branden Dawson and, if you can even count this, Caleb Swanigan behind him.
The 2015 recruiting class was one of the top-three in the nation before Swanigan decommitted, but it’s still one of the best in college basketball, ranking in the top 20.
