Michigan State basketball recruiting might just be taking center stage over the next couple of months are you remember it did near this time a year ago. Nick Ward committed and then a couple of weeks later, Caleb Swanigan decommitted and then chose Purdue.
The Spartans’ 2017 recruiting class has yet to add a member, but depending on which 2016 players, and maybe even Deyonta Davis, decide to leave school early, Tom Izzo might have a few scholarship available to use on the talent-loaded group for next year.
While you might look at Michigan State’s 2016 class at Izzo’s best ever, even without Josh Jackson just yet, the 2017 group could wind up being his second-best ever.
