Michigan State RB Madre London leaving to pursue graduate transfer

The return of LJ Scott for his senior season meant it was time for another veteran Michigan State running back to leave.

Madre London announced via Twitter on Friday that he plans to pursue a graduate transfer and bypass his fifth and final season in East Lansing. London said he expects to graduate in May.

“After long and deep introspection,” London wrote. “I will be relinquishing my last year of eligibility, and, I am requesting my release from Michigan State University football.

“I would like to thank the Spartan Nation for their dedication, and I leave with the strength, kindness, and wisdom that was given to me.
