EAST LANSING - La'Darius Jefferson had family waiting to see him Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium.
Before the Michigan State running back met up with them, he stopped to answer questions from media members after the biggest performance of his very young college career.
Jefferson is just a true freshman adjusting to a new position only three games into college but has already become a key contributor for the Spartans. And no, he didn't expect to get opportunities so quickly this season after making his debut in a Sept. 8 loss at Arizona State.
"It happened so fast," Jefferson said.
