Redshirt sophomore running back Austin Andrews announced Friday afternoon via Twitter he is transferring from Michigan State.

A former three-star prospect from St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio, Andrews signed with Michigan State's 2016 recruiting class as a defensive back. He took a redshirt as a true freshman and appeared in just one game last season, recording one tackle in the season-opening win against Bowling Green.
