EAST LANSING - As the final seconds ticked off the clock, the Michigan band played "The Victors" and the Wolverines celebrated with the Paul Bunyan Trophy at Spartan Stadium.
Michigan State lost its biggest game of the season to its top rival. But, that was last week, and the Spartans must regroup quickly. Michigan State (4-3, 2-2 Big Ten) has dropped two of its last three games and will host red-hot Purdue (4-3, 3-1) on Saturday (noon, ESPN).
"It's more so just remembering the feeling of after the game, knowing that we had lost to a big rival," redshirt freshman offensive lineman Blake Bueter said.
