Tom Izzo has been one of the better recruiters in the Big Ten over the past 20 years — no matter what kind of bad luck he has had in recent years. He’s put together one heck of a start to the 2016 class and Michigan State is starting to take a serious look at the 2017 group as well.
With the 2016 class off to a hot start with four-star power forward Nick Ward and five-star combo-guard Josh Langford, there are still two spots left to fill. However, the 2017 class is wide open and five-star power forward Brandon McCoy could be a name to keep an eye on.
