EAST LANSING - When Tum Tum Nairn first walked into the Michigan State locker room three years ago and saw his picture above his new locker, he snapped a photo and sent it to his mother.
"I'm at Michigan State," Nairn wrote excitedly.
Nearly four years later, Nairn is in his final days using that locker room as a Michigan State player. In that time, Nairn has been a starter on a Final Four team, suffered an agonizing first-round NCAA Tournament loss, moved into a reserve role, worked through injuries and struggled to find a jumpshot that never materialized while becoming a defensive stopper.
