CHICAGO - More than a year after Jon Reschke left the Michigan State football team, he's back on the roster.
The sixth-year senior linebacker's departure was the result of using a racial slur about a former teammate and his return required the approval of Spartan players.
"As a team, collectively, I think we made the right decision on bringing him back into the team," Michigan State senior running back LJ Scott said.

Reschke, who is white, announced his departure from the program last February after saying he made "an insensitive and totally regrettable comment" about a former teammate.
