EAST LANSING -- After returning from Indiana with the their second consecutive loss, Michigan State's upperclassmen convened a players-only meeting.
The message, according to Spartans junior offensive lineman Brian Allen, was direct.
"We let them know that what's happened here the last two weeks is something that's embarrassing," Allen said. "It shouldn't happen here. We have the talent and the attitude that guys have passed on to us that we can't let it drop off."
As Michigan State heads into a Saturday game against BYU (3:30 p.m., ABC), it does so looking to break the school's first two-game losing streak since 2012.
