Dipping his hand into the SEC’s cookie jar, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio is trying to hit the state of Georgia hard in recruiting for the class of 2017. The latest move has been offering four-star quarterback Davis Mills of Norcross, Georgia.
The high school junior joins the likes of Kasim Hill, Ryan Kelley, Chase Brice and Jake Fromm as the Spartans’ 2017 quarterback targets. The latter two are also from Georgia and all five guys have been dubbed four-stars by 247Sports and most major recruiting services.

Georgia has been very good to the Spartans since Dantonio has taken over the program in 2007, putting guys like Keith Mumphery and Darqueze Dennard in the NFL.
