BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Michigan State was coming off a bye last week and had a chance to get injured players healthy.
While some returned, the injury problems continued to mount for the No. 24 Spartans (2-1, 1-0 Big Ten) in their 35-21 win at Indiana (3-1, 0-1) on Saturday night.
Left tackle Cole Chewins, left guard David Beedle and defensive end Jacub Panasiuk all played against the Hoosiers - although none of them started - while running back LJ Scott dressed but didn't play after being injured during a loss at Arizona State on Sept. 8.
"He's hampered by an ankle," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said of Scott.
