STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- A Michigan State captain missed his final college game in his home state, and the Spartans' best player may have finished his career at not with the team.
Spartans defensive back Demetrious Cox did not dress or make the trip for Michigan State's 45-12 loss to Penn State due to a "violation of rules," Spartans coach Mark Dantonio said.
Cox is a Jeannette, Pa., native, and spoke on Tuesday about his excitement of playing his final college game in his home state.
