Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio: 'Unforced errors' kept Utah State game close Chris Solari, Detroit Free Press
EAST LANSING — Justin Layne pushed and shoved with a Utah State wide receiver after one point Friday night and got a penalty flag.
That is the type of toughness Michigan State’s junior cornerback will need from play to play — before the whistle, of course — when he faces a much bigger challenge in Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry.
“He’s a good receiver, but I’m a good cornerback at the same time,” the 6-foot-3 Layne said of 6-4 Harry.
