With Michigan State and head coach Tom Izzo looking closely at the 2016 class, trying to fill the final two spots with either Josh Jackson, Cassius Winston and/or Miles Bridges, the Spartans are still making an impression on the 2017 class.
In fact, Izzo has made such an impression that five-star power forward Austin Wiley included Michigan State in his first-cut list on Tuesday evening.

Although the list is at 13, so it’s not exactly trimmed much, it’s a good sign to be one of the schools included.
