ANN ARBOR - Michigan quarterback John O'Korn's pass attempt into the end zone fell incomplete and the clock read triple zeroes.

Michigan State (4-1, 2-0 Big Ten), nearly a two-touchdown underdog, rolled into Ann Arbor and upset No. 7 Michigan (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) to hand the Wolverines their first loss of the season on Saturday night.

"I definitely think a statement was made," Michigan State redshirt sophomore safety David Dowell said.
