Taurean Carter II, a highly-regarded three-star defensive end out of Mansfield Legacy High School in Texas, has named his final four schools and the Michigan State Spartans were included on that list.
MSU is joined by Lone Star State programs Texas and Texas Tech, as well as Arkansas. Arkansas is actually favored to land the defensive line product, however, as the 247Sports Crystal Ball currently gives the Razorbacks a 92 percent chance at landing Carter.
Carter has garnered quite a bit of attention from big FBS programs. In addition to the schools named above, Carter had offers from TCU, Florida, Colorado, Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Houston and others.
