EAST LANSING - As Michigan State players came off the practice field Tuesday night, the remaining wait neared 72 hours.
Just a little more than three days were left until the season starts against Utah State on Friday night (7 p.m., BTN) at Spartan Stadium.
"I think we'll come out on Friday, get the job done and set the tone for the rest of the season," senior running back LJ Scott said.
