EAST LANSING -- To walk through Michigan State's Duffy Daugherty Building is to be inundated with reminders of the program's recent successful run.
In one hallway in particular, NFL jerseys of recent former Spartans players line one wall. On the other wall, jerseys from Michigan State's bowl games, including all nine under Mark Dantonio, are tacked up.
As a coach trying to fix a broken 2-4 football team, Dantonio has been walking those halls plenty lately. And the gulf between those recent teams that have hung Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl jerseys and the one he's currently coaching isn't lost on him.
