The football season might be over for the Green and White, but the news kept coming on Friday afternoon as yet another Michigan State Spartan role player announced his departure and entrance in the NCAA transfer portal. This time, the player in question is redshirt sophomore, Jeslord Boateng.
The 6-foot-1, 228-pound linebacker joined the Spartan roster as a three-star rated member of the 2018 recruiting class and hailing from Dublin, Ohio. Boateng played sparingly during his redshirt freshman campaign in 2019, but he did see action in 11 games to earn a varsity letter.
